Michigan vs. Michigan State is setting up to be the best game of Week 9 in college football. The Spartans and Wolverines are in the top 10 of the AP Poll and undefeated at 7-0 (4-0 in B1G play).
This is the first time that both teams are meeting as top 10 foes since 1964. The 2 premier college football pregame shows, ESPN’s College GameDay and FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff are in East Lansing for the colossal matchup.
The ticket prices are now the most expensive ticket prices of the weekend, surpassing No. 5 Ohio State vs. No. 20 Penn State and The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party between No. 1 Georgia and Florida. According to Tony Paul with the Detroit News, tickets to get into Spartan Stadium are just shy of $300:

ESPN’s GameDay crew has already had a lot to talk about between the Spartans and the Wolverines. Earlier Friday, ESPN College GameDay analyst Desmond Howard praised Jim Harbaugh for the hiring of DC Mike Macdonald in the offseason.
Howard also praised the Spartans’ offense and how well they have played this season. According to Howard, this Michigan State offense is among the best he’s seen in East Lansing.
ESPN College GameDay Host Rece Davis talked about the importance of this game for Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh. According to Davis, this is the latest must-win game for Harbaugh.
