The Denver Broncos had another former Wisconsin football player sign his rookie contract. Their 6th-round pick Matt Henningsen has now signed his rookie contract according to Mike Klis of 9News in Denver, Colorado.

This comes after the Broncos also locked down former Badgers’ CB Faion Hicks. Henningsen played DT, and played 41 games for Wisconsin. He had 89 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, and 4 pass deflections in his Wisconsin career.

Klis stated that the deal will be for 4-years and is valued at $3,822,020 million. The rookie contract will also include a $162,080 signing bonus as well.

Henningsen is a native of Menomenee Falls, Wisconsin. He was an All-B1G honorable mention in 2019, and a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy in the 2021 preseason.
