It may have been a bit of a wait, but Iowa’s Tyler Linderbaum officially has his rookie contract signed with the Baltimore Ravens.
Linderbaum’s deal comes as he takes part in the second week of offseason OTAs with the Ravens. Though Baltimore did not release details of the contract, Spotrac projected the value at pick No. 25 as just over $13 million with a $6.8 million signing bonus.

The decorated Hawkeye is projected to immediately step in as Baltimore’s starting center for the 2022 season. Linderbaum joins an offense that features star quarterback Lamar Jackson, RB J.K. Dobbins and TE Mark Andrews among others.
“I told Tyler that it’s my goal to have him laying in bed shaking every night, worried about the next thing, so hopefully, by training camp, he’s not, and then by the season, he’s feeling good,” Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman said Wednesday.
“So, yes, we’re trying to throw him in there and get him as much exposure [as possible]. He’s doing a really good job; you can see it every day. Some guys – you can just see it every day – they just take another step forward, and he’s one of those guys thus far. So, it’s a credit to him, and he needs to keep it going.”
