Rutgers added 3 of its official visitors to its 2023 recruiting class this past weekend. After early commitments from a Massachusetts wide receiver and Florida lineman, a linebacker from the Sunshine State completed the trifecta later Sunday.

Abram Wright made the announcement on his Twitter account Sunday evening.

“First and foremost, I would first like to give glory to God,” Wright wrote. “My mom, for believing in me and being there with me every step of the way during this recruiting process. I would like to thank Coach Springs, Coach Gio and Coach Coultis for teaching me the fundamentals of football and helping to develop me into the player that I have become. I would like to thank my teammates. I would like to thank all the schools who recruited me. Thank you Coach Schiano, Coach H and Coach Hetherman for giving me this opportunity and for believing in me.

“Therefore, without any doubt, I am happy to say I have committed to Rutgers University.”

Out of Fleming Island High School, Wright is rated 3-stars, the No. 103 Florida product and No. 63 linebacker in the class of 2023 on 247Sports. Wright has 14 scholarship offers, including Duke. His highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
