Twice as nice: Minnesota lands 2nd commitment of day with pledge from North Dakota edge defender

Minnesota’s 2023 recruiting class is taking shape. The Gophers are up to 14 commitments, with 2 verbal pledges Monday. The second commitment of the day came from Karter Menz, an edge defender out of West Fargo, North Dakota.

Listed at 6-5, 215 pounds, Menz is rated 3-stars, the No. 1 recruit in North Dakota, No. 78 edge defender and No. 983 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.
