Wisconsin safety Travian Blaylock suffered an apparent knee injury during spring camp in April. There are now reports about what the injury may be.
Blaylock reportedly tore his ACL per Jesse Temple of The Athletic. Temple stated that an unnamed school official confirmed the news with the publication. Blaylock was projected to be a starter this fall, as he has been working with the 1st-team defense at Wisconsin.
He played in 11 games for the Badgers in 2021. Blaylock had 11 solo tackles for Wisconsin last season as well. Paul Chryst will now to have look elsewhere for his starting safety. Here’s hoping the 5th-year senior makes a speedy recovery.
Wisconsin opens the 2022 season with a home game against Illinois State on FS1 at 7 p.m. ET.
