The return of two Terrapin receivers is a sign of hope for Maryland fans. Each season, BTN host and analyst Dave Revsine visits each fall camp in the B1G. Upon his visit to College Park on Tuesday, Revsine reported that celebrated receivers Dontay Demus and Jeshaun Jones were healthy and practicing at full capacity.

The news of a healthy Dontay Demus is especially promising for Maryland, as the Senior was 2nd in the B1G in receiving yards per game before being injured in 2021. Demus was sidelined after he tore his ACL in Maryland’s fifth game against No. 5 Iowa.

At the time, he promised his teammates “I’m coming back” while being carted off the field. Wednesday, he made good on that promise, going 100% in practice.

Jeshaun Jones, who was also sidelined in 2021 with an ACL tear, is on track for a distinguished comeback as well. During his visit, Revsine commented on the wide receivers, noting that the group is “awfully talented”.  Jones appeared in the first 6 games of 2021 with a total of 18 receptions for 224 yards before being injured.
