Pete Carroll announced that former Michigan State RB Kenneth Walker III suffered a hernia injury on Tuesday. The Seattle Seahawks’ HC spoke about it further on Wednesday per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

There is some good news for Walker, as Carroll confirmed that the injury is not a sports hernia. However, the Seattle Seahawks RB is going to undergo a procedure.

Luckily for Walker, he doesn’t have the injury the team thought he did. Carroll stated on Tuesday that the team is hoping to have Walker back by the season opener against the Denver Broncos.

There is no further information about what injury Walker has, or the procedure he is going to be using.
