Northwestern’s uniforms for its matchup with Nebraska at Aviva Stadium have been announced. The team already unveiled a new helmet design for the game.

The helmets will be Ireland themed, since the game is going to be played in Dublin. The team will be decked out in all purple jerseys and pants. The word W.I.N. will also be on the front of the football helmets.

While last season’s meeting didn’t go as planned for Northwestern, the all-time series is a lot closer than people think. The Cornhuskers lead the series 9-6. Both teams are coming off of a 5-game losing streak from last year.

Pat Fitzgerald has a 5-6 record against the Huskers since his 1st season in Evanston back in 2006. ESPN’s FPI favors Nebraska this time around, giving Scott Frost a 78.7% chance of victory.

Maybe Fitzgerald can flip the script and pull off the upset. You can watch Northwestern take on Nebraska on Aug. 27 at 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
