After showing his versatility at Michigan State, rookie DB Montae Nicholson started his first career game for the Redskins this week against Oakland. On Sunday Night Football, the fourth round pick intercepted QB Derek Carr on the first pass play of the game.

It was Carr’s first interception of the year.

While Nicholson left MSU after just three years, it’s clear the young safety has found his place in the Redskins secondary.
