Colston Loveland headed to Michigan’s locker room after suffering an apparent injury on a special teams play.
Loveland was seen entering the medical tent after limping off the field. After exiting the tent, the tight end headed for the locker room. This is a disappointing development for Loveland, as he is responsible for Michigan’s only points thus far.
In the 1st quarter, Loveland secured a 25-yard TD to put the Wolverines up 7-0. The score was Loveland’s 2nd of the season.

Fortunately, Loveland was able to return to action in the second quarter, but we will see if he can finish. There are also currently no updates on the exact nature of Loveland’s issue.

The Michigan offense has struggled thus far. Star RB Blake Corum is not active, and the offense has not been able to find a rhythm without him to this point.
