Blake Corum garnered a lot of attention from people around the country after the season he had in 2022. Corum joined ESPN’s Adam Schefter on ‘The Adam Schefter ESPN Podcast’ to talk about whether or not the Michigan star is planning on returning.

Corum ran for 1,463 yards and 19 total touchdowns this season. Corum’s season is now unfortunately over due to a knee injury that required surgery.

Schefter asked Corum what’s best for the Michigan RB at this moment. Corum is still weighing his options as of right now and has until Jan. 16 to make a decision on the 2023 NFL Draft.

“I’m still trying to figure that out honestly. A lot has been happening with the injury. I’ve thought about it a little bit. I’m just trying to figure some things out, get my knee right. I have a couple weeks before I have to decide what’s best for me and what I should do. I have not made a decision, I’m 50-50.”

If Corum decides to not come back to Michigan for another year the backfield will most likely be manned by Donovan Edwards. Edwards has proven that he can be a reliable option with Corum out, recording 872 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns in 10 games this season.
