Coming up with the All-B1G teams can be a pretty difficult task. With so many talented players on the field in a 14-team league, someone is bound to be omitted from the list.
One of those left off the All-B1G defensive teams was Northwestern linebacker Nate Hall. And the Wildcats weren’t the least bit happy about his absence.
The first, second and third teams were selected on Tuesday and several Wildcats were mentioned on the three teams. But Hall never made the cut, despite 79 tackles, 16.5 tackles or loss, two interceptions and eight pass break-ups. He ranks 3rd with 2 INT.
He ranks 4th with 8 PBU.
He ranks 6th with 5.0 sacks.
He ranks 9th with 49 solo stops.🤔@NateHall32 not being 1st, 2nd or 3rd Team All-Big Ten (9 LBs) is:

Unfortunately for Hall, the results of the poll won’t get him an All-B1G selection.
Hall might’ve been deserving for at least one of those spots, but with so many teams in the league, it’s not uncommon for some candidates to get left off the list.
