Marvin Harrison Jr.’s status for Week 6 will be a key topic to watch after an injury sustained against Notre Dame. However, one sighting from Wednesday could be a good sign for the Buckeye receiver.
Despite Ohio State being on a bye week, Harrison was seen getting in his usual work with the Monarc robotic passing machine. His full status is unlikely to be known for quite some time, but it’s also a good sign he is active and getting in some reps after Saturday’s injury.

During the dramatic win over Notre Dame, Harrison had his ankle rolled up while blocking for TreVeyon Henderson’s long touchdown run. He posted a quiet night even before that injury but still managed to return to action and finish the game.
After the win, Ryan Day pointed to Harrison’s toughness for finishing out the win. Even without his usual big numbers, Day pointed to Harrison’s presence on the field as a key for opening up looks for Emeka Egbuka and others.
The Buckeyes will be idle this week before facing Maryland at home in Week 6. Hopefully, the bye hits at just the right time with Harrison able to rest and recuperate for the matchup vs. the Terrapins.
