ESPN’s FPI is back with more College Football Playoff projections after a relatively quiet Week 3. Conference play is starting to get rolling across the country, as there are 4 B1g matchups in Week 4. With the start of conference play, the CFP odds are starting to become more important each week.

Ohio State is still the heavy favorite in the B1G, as they are 78.9% likely to make the CFP. That is the third highest among all teams in college football, trailing only Texas and Alabama.

Here are the latest CFP odds from the FPI:

  • Ohio State — 78.9%
  • Oregon — 48.6%
  • Penn State — 46.9%
  • USC — 36.8%
  • Indiana — 24%
  • Nebraska — 11.8%
  • Michigan— 6.6%

No other B1G team currently has odds above 5 %.

Oregon finally looked like the team everyone thought the Ducks would be in Week 3, as they dismantled in-state rival Oregon State 49-14. The Ducks were balanced on offense, as Dillon Gabriel threw for 291 yards and 2 touchdowns, while the team also rushed for 240 yards.

Indiana and Nebraska are 2 teams that weren’t looked at as contenders in the off-season, but both teams are off to a 3-0 start. Freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola became the first freshman quarterback since Marcus Mariota to complete 70% of his passes in each of his first 3 games.

Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke has also been impressive, as he has thrown for 755 yards and 7 touchdowns in the Hoosiers first 3 games.

Michigan was able to get back on the winning track last week, but it was another struggle as the Wolverines defeated Arkansas State, 28-18.
