Jahan Dotson is the latest former Penn State player to make a big play in Week 9 of the NFL season, as he made an incredible circus catch during the Philadelphia Eagles game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With the Eagles already up 16-0, Jalen Hurts connected with Dotson on an incredible 36-yard pass and catch. After the ball was tipped, it looked like there was no way this would go as a catch, but Dotson stuck with the play.

Dotson played at Penn State from 2018-21, and he finished with 183 catches for 2,757 yards and 25 touchdowns. His final season in Happy Valley was by far his best, as he led the team with 91 catches for 1,182 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Fellow Nittany Lion and Eagles teammate Saquon Barkley has had a big day for the Eagles as well. Through 3 quarters, Barkley has 142 total yards of offense and 2 touchdowns.

While the statistics are obviously impressive, he may have had the play of the day with an impressive spin hurdle over a defender.

These 2 aren’t the only former Penn State players to have a big game, as Mike Gesicki had 5 catches for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Bengals win against the Raiders.

While it wasn’t the best weekend for current Penn State football, the fans can maybe find some solace that so many Penn State greats made big plays in their NFL games.
