Scott Frost wants to move on. Despite the constant questions about the injury to freshman quarterback Adrian Martinez and the play in which he suffered the injury, the Nebraska head coach says he’s done talking about it.

Martinez wasn’t in pads at practice on Tuesday, according to Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald. The freshman was listed as day-to-day yesterday and has the opportunity to start on Saturday against Troy.

While Frost was on the B1G coaches teleconference on Tuesday, he was asked about Martinez and whether he’s received any update from the Pac-12 or the B1G regarding the play in which his quarterback was injured on. Frost declined to comment.

“I’m done talking about it,” Frost said. He also mentioned that he alerted Bill Moos, Nebraska’s athletics director, who suggested he reach out to both conference offices.

During his weekly press conference on Monday, Frost said that he had sent the video of the play to both the Pac-12 and the B1G for review. He also said that there was an angle that “didn’t look very good,” and that a Colorado defender may have purposefully injury Martinez’s leg.

The Pac-12 issued a statement stating it had received the video and would review the play in question.

Martinez is expected to be back on the field soon, but how much he can handle over the next week is still in question.
