Scott Frost had plenty on his mind this weekend. And he’s not withholding any punches, even if it means calling out his own team.

After Saturday’s 42-28 loss to Purdue to fall to 0-4 on the year, Frost’s emotions ran high. During a halftime interview, Frost said that “he’s tired of watching it,” referencing all the mistakes and lack of discipline on the team. And he wasn’t too happy after the game either, when he learned that some of his players weren’t too upset about the lopsided score.

Prior to multiple kickoffs on Saturday, several Nebraska players were spotted dancing to music that was played over the loud speaker while on the sideline.

“It looks like they love losing,” Frost said. “This is the second time we’ve lost with almost 600 yards of offense,” said Frost. “That’s not supposed to happen. But it happens when you make all those mistakes. It happens when you beat yourselves. We’re not going to win as long as those things are happening.”

While Frost was irked about his team’s performance and attitude, he did have an emotional and motivational speech following the loss. He said players have the option to either “stay down or keep fighting,” following the 0-4 start.

Nebraska is back on the field next Saturday, traveling to Madison to take on Wisconsin. We’ll see if any of those mistakes are cleaned up by next week.
