LOOK: Northwestern shows off throwback uniform for 2019

In celebration of college football’s 150th season, Northwestern will have throwback-inspired uniforms for a September 28 matchup with Wisconsin.
On Tuesday, Northwestern unveiled the new look.
Northwestern will have a purple helmet and purple pants with a white uniform and gray gloves for the late-September contest. The letters “NU” will be on the jersey and helmet, as well.

On Tuesday, Wisconsin also revealed what it’s uniforms will look like for the head-to-head contest against Northwestern. It has a similar look.
