Vegas computer predicts razor-thin finish in Maryland’s battle with Syracuse

It looks like the Terrapins may be in for a very close call this weekend.

Mike Locksley and Maryland got off to a roaring start in Week 1 against Howard. The Terrapins were heavily favored in that matchup, but now they will get their first chance to knock off a ranked opponent.

As the week has progressed, Maryland has already swung from a close underdog to a narrow favorite. Odds Shark has the Terrapins at -2, but the actual finish maybe even closer.

According to the computer prediction provided by Odds Shark, the Terrapins are instore for a one-point victory. It currently is predicting a 31.2-30.2 victory over the Orange:

And before you scoff at these computer predictions, they were nearly spot on when it comes to Purdue and Nevada in Week 1. The computer predicted a two-point upset by the Wolfpack. In reality, Nevada kicked a game-winning field goal to win by three.
