The start of the 2019 season has been an intriguing one for both Michigan and Wisconsin.

The Wolverines are 2-0 after having a bye in Week 3 while having to travel to Madison for a Week 4 game against Wisconsin. It hasn’t been beautiful for the maize and blue, though.

Michigan is undergoing a schematic shirt offensively. It is now a spread offense. But the offense hasn’t looked great thus far. Against Army, the Wolverines put up 24 points in a double overtime game. The offense has to get better.

Will it get better against a Wisconsin team that has outscored opponents 110-0 so far this season? We’ll find out this weekend.

Ahead of the game, on Monday, Jim Harbaugh talked about the upcoming B1G challenge against Wisconsin:

“Challenge of this game is big,” Harbaugh said. “They’re just good every year. Every time you face them, really talented, veteran, well-coached football team. Playing in Camp Randall is a tough venue. That’s a tough win to get. We haven’t won in four or five tries. So, it’s a big game for us. It’s a big challenge.”

There’s no question that Harbaugh is right. Regardless of how Michigan is playing, Harbaugh knows that winning in Madison is difficult.

Especially with the way the Badgers have been playing in 2019.
