After each week concludes, ESPN updates its FPI. The football power index takes many things into account and gives team an overall number. Last week, in the top 25 for the Big Ten, were Ohio State, Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State and Iowa.

This week, it doesn’t look too much different. However, some teams have certainly risen, while others have fallen. The B1G teams are in bold:

  1. Alabama
  2. Clemson
  3. Ohio State
  4. Georgia
  5. LSU
  6. Oklahoma
  7. Notre Dame
  8. Wisconsin
  9. Auburn
  10. Oregon
  11. Penn State
  12. Florida
  13. Texas A&M
  14. Washington
  15. Michigan State
  16. UCF
  17. Texas
  18. Mississippi State
  19. Michigan
  20. Missouri
  21. Iowa
  22. USC
  23. Utah
  24. Iowa State
  25. Oklahoma State

Ohio State is now up to No. 3 according to the FPI, while Wisconsin is at No. 8. These two teams look a cut above the rest in the conference and are scheduled to meet in the regular season on Oct. 26 in Columbus.
