Minnesota-Purdue may not garner national headlines, but it could end up becoming a pivotal matchup when determining what happens in the Big Ten West division.
The Golden Gophers are 3-0 coming into their first B1G game of the season, while the Boilermakers have struggled with injuries and is 1-2 on the year.

In the first quarter, Minnesota got off to a quick 7-3 lead, and just one minute after Purdue got its field goal, the Golden Gophers struck for another touchdown. Quarterback Tanner Morgan found wide receiver Chris Autman-Bell on a slant route and Autman-Bell did the rest.

Purdue has since scored a TD, making it a 14-10 football game in the second quarter. The matchup can be watched on ESPN2.
