Purdue may have surprised some people this past weekend when the Boilermakers defeated Maryland 40-14. Many thought the Terrapins would win the game outright.
Not lose by 26.
Purdue showed life in that game despite not having QB Elijah Sindelar, WR Rondale Moore and LB Markus Bailey available due to injury — just to list a few.

On Monday, ahead of Purdue’s game against Iowa, Boilermakers coach Jeff Brohm spoke with the media about keys to winning the B1G showdown:
Brohm on being 2-0 vs. Iowa: Pressed us first year and hit some big plays. Got a lead last year. That was key.

As Brohm said, Iowa is always strong in the trenches and it will be yet another battle for the Boilermakers. Brohm is 2-0 against the Hawkeyes and will be looking to make it 3-0 at Kinnick Stadium for a noon kickoff on Saturday.
