With just two weeks left to go, the contenders for conference championships across the country are digging in for a stretch run.
In the B1G, that race has been whittled down to just a handful of teams. Most notably, Ohio State cruised to a big win over Rutgers. Though the Buckeyes may have been a tad sloppy and did not cover the -52.5 spread, it was more than enough to get ready for their two toughest games of the season.

On Sunday, ESPN’s Bill Connelly shared the updated SP+ Rankings, and Ryan Day’s Ohio State squad still leads the way at No. 1. The Buckeyes are more than four points better than Alabama, the No. 2 team on the system.
Though that is a good spot for Justin Fields and company to be in, they must go up against two B1G teams that are also in the top 10 for SP+ in Penn State and Michigan. Here are the B1G teams that landed in the SP+ Top 25:
- No. 1 – Ohio State
- No. 7 – Penn State
- No. 10 – Michigan
- No. 13 – Wisconsin
- No. 16 – Minnesota
- No. 20 – Indiana
- No. 23 – Iowa

One Q to keep in mind as the Bama debate gets ragier: of the 1L teams, who do you (or Vegas, or SP+) think would actually beat the others?
