Mike Leach has an epic story about making Thanksgiving gravy gone wrong

Mike Leach may be a fun head coach with some awesome stories, but it doesn’t sound like you’ll want to be his neighbor anytime soon.
The head coach for Washington State is definitely a character, and his press conference comments have become must-see tv. Among the topics Leach has tackled are the best college mascots, lip-reading football coaches, and his feelings about cargo shorts.

With Thursday being Thanksgiving, Leach went into a story during his Monday press conference about making gravy one year. Apparently, Leach’s wife insisted on using a new plastic device to make the gravy.
It didn’t go well, for Leach or his neighbor’s house:
“I put it in there, I shake it up, the thing explodes all over my shirt,” explained Leach. “I went to the patio door, I took that thing and rifled it into the neighbor’s yard. The last time I saw that thing it exploded on the side of the neighbor’s house.
“I never saw that thing again. I’m glad I never saw it again.”

Hopefully, Thanksgiving at the Leach household goes a bit smoother this year!
