Purdue had numerous injuries take a toll on the program this season. With that, the Boilermakers finished 2019 at 4-8 overall and no bowl game to show for their efforts.

Strides were certainly made throughout the year by a number of players, but when it mattered most, Purdue couldn’t get over the hump. It will try to do so with a fresh start in 2020.

One Boilermaker is also seeking a fresh start in 2020 in sophomore defensive end Giovanni Reviere:

According to sports-reference.com, Reviere played in one game and recorded two tackles this season after starting 13 games a season ago (via 247SportsPortal’s tweet).

Reviere was a three-star prospect in Purdue’s 2017 class.
