Rose Bowl press box to honor late ESPN reporter Ed Aschoff

The ESPN family and college football world lost a bright spot over the holidays.

The tragic news came down around Christmas that Edward Aschoff, a popular and well-respected reporter for ESPN passed away on Christmas Eve. It was also Aschoff’s 34th birthday.

Since that time, people from all around the sport have reached out to express their condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the Aschoff family. On New Year’s Day, the Rose Bowl will also pay respect.

Early on Wednesday, ESPN’s Chris Fowler shared an image from the Rose Bowl press box where there will be a seat dedicated to Aschoff for the game. This is definitely a nice way to honor Aschoff:
