Ohio State athletics cleared to resume voluntary workouts

The Buckeyes received a bit of good news Tuesday as Ohio State athletics has been cleared to resume voluntary workouts.

Ohio State put a pause to all athletics workouts last week following COVID-19 test results from July 7th. The university announced Tuesday that teams are now allowed to restart voluntary workouts following testing that was done Monday, July 13th.

As a part of the statement, the university announced that athletes will be routinely tested with training decisions being reevaluated by medical staff. Bill Landis with The Athletic shared the statement:

Hopefully, the worst is behind the Buckeyes as workouts resume.
