Well, well, well, look who’s finally included in the power rankings.

This week, the B1G announced that it would be reinstating its 2020 fall football season and released its complete, eight-game schedule which is set to begin the weekend of Oct. 24. Now that the conference has decided to play, it’s now being included in ESPN’s Power Rankings.

And the league is seeing plenty of representation this week.

Ohio State has immediately jumped in near the top, with Penn State also cracking the top 10. Three other B1G teams cracked the top 25, as well, with Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota all receiving recognition. Here’s where those five B1G teams ranked:

  • No. 2: Ohio State
  • No. 9: Penn State
  • No. 12: Wisconsin
  • No. 16: Michigan
  • No. 21: Minnesota

That looks a little bit different than ESPN’s Football Power Index rankings, which lists eight B1G teams in the top 25. The three teams in the FPI that did not crack the power rankings are Indiana, Iowa and Northwestern.
