Someday, college football players will learn it’s never safe to celebrate too early. However, that day is not today.

The early celebrations started Saturday when Abilene Christian took on Army. On one play, an Abilene Christian player took a handoff around the left side and ripped off a long run that appeared destined for the end zone. Unfortunately, he was tackled around the 10-yard line after he appeared to slow down while flashing a peace sign to the defense.

Unfortunately for Kentucky, Asim Rose did not heed the warning of that play. He snapped off a 72-yard run against Ole Miss, but he also threw up the peace sign short of the goal line.

He was tackled inside the five-yard line before fumbling the ball away two plays later:

To anyone else planning an early celebration: you have been warned.
