The finally hurdle has reportedly been cleared. The game is on this weekend in Indianapolis.

On Friday night, ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg reported that Ohio State passed the B1G’s COVID-19 protocols and will be allowed to participate in Saturday’s B1G Championship Game. Earlier in the day, Rittenberg reported that Northwestern also passed without any issues.

Kickoff will proceed at 12 p.m. ET on FOX, as previously scheduled.

Northwestern enters the game with a 6-1 record and ranked No. 14 in the College Football Playoff rankings. Ohio State is No. 4 at 5-0 this season and is likely to lock up one of the four bids in the Playoff with a victory over the Wildcats at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.

This will mark the second time in three years Ohio State and Northwestern have met in the B1G Championship Game. In 2018, the Buckeyes cruised to a 45-24 victory over the Wildcats, earning a trip to Pasadena to play in the Rose Bowl.
