Lee Corso is picking the Ohio State Buckeyes to win the National Championship.

Corso announced that pick the only way he knows how — with the classic Ohio State headgear just moments before kickoff.

Here’s a look:

Ohio State is a significant underdog in this game. The Buckeyes were already 8.5-point dogs prior to the news that they will be without several key starters in tonight’s game.

Kicker Jake Seibert, a true freshman from Cincinnati, is expected to fill in for starter Blake Haubeil.

If Corso is going to be proven right, Ohio State will need massive efforts from quarterback Justin Fields and running back Trey Sermon. Luckily for the Buckeyes, both are coming off of outstanding performances vs. Clemson.

Fields completed 22-of-28 passes and threw for six touchdown passes vs. the Tigers. Sermon, meanwhile has rushed for 524 combined yards in Ohio State’s last two games.

Kickoff is expected shortly after 8 p.m. ET on Monday.
