According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Lively is the No. 20 overall player and the No. 3 center for the class of 2022.

He currently attends Westtown High School and is from Bellfonte, Pennsylvania. He’s listed at 7-foot-1, 220 pounds. Lively earned praise from college basketball insider Jon Rothstein on Saturday:

This is at least the second 5-star prospect that’s considering both Penn State and Michigan. 5-star center Jalen Duren — who is also originally from Pennsylvania — has both the Nittany Lions and the Wolverines in his top nine.

Michigan has one commitment so far for its 2022 recruiting class — 4-star point guard Dug McDaniel. The Nittany Lions are in their first offseason with new coach Micah Shrewsberry.

There is no timetable for his announcement.
