It was another exciting week of college basketball in Week 3.

Plenty of teams in the B1G are off to great starts. Indiana, Iowa, No. 2 Purdue, and Minnesota are all undefeated through the first 3 weeks. A number of teams in the conference have either 1 or 2 losses so far. Rutgers is currently last in the B1G at 3-3.

After how Wisconsin and Nebraska have played recently, 2 of their players made the list for Players of the Week. Wisconsin won the Maui Jim Maui Invitational over St. Mary’s 61-55 on Wednesday. The Cornhuskers’ last game was an 83-70 win over South Dakota on Saturday.

The Badger’s Johnny Davis took home B1G Player of the Week honors after his play. Davis has averaged 23.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game over the past week. He was the MVP of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational Tournament, scoring 30 points in the win over No. 12 Houston.

Bryce McGowens was the Freshman of the Week in the B1G. McGowens averaged 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists for the week. In his most recent game, he had 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists against South Dakota.
