B1G lands 4 teams in Coaches Poll after minor shakeup ahead of Week 3
The B1G had a minor shakeup at the bottom of the latest Coaches Poll, which came out on Sunday afternoon, as the top 3 teams remained unchanged.
Michigan remained at No. 2, Ohio State at No. 4, and Penn State at No. 7. At the bottom of the poll, Wisconsin fell out, and Iowa entered the top 25 at No. 24. Maryland, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan State received at least 1 vote. Iowa entered the poll 1 day after Kirk Ferentz secured his 200th victory.
Nationally, Georgia retained the No. 1 ranking, and received all but one of the 65 first-place votes cast this week. Michigan picked up the remaining first-place nod.
Florida State vaulted into the 3rd spot, and hopped over Ohio State. USC moved up to No. 5, narrowly holding off Texas by a single poll point.
