Big Ten sets date on suspension of all organized team activities

On Thursday, it was announced that the Big Ten was canceling all conference and non-conference competitions for the remainder of the academic year.

That didn’t include practices, spring games, etc.
However, on Friday, the B1G made an announcement regarding all organized team activities:
“The Big Ten Conference announced today that all organized team activities have been suspended until April 6, 2020, and will be re-evaluated at that time.”
Any practices, spring games, meetings, and any other organized team activities up until April 6 will no longer be occurring. Once that date comes, everything will be re-evaluated. Until then, consider everything canceled.
This is something we haven’t seen before in the world of sports.
