Cam Newton could’ve been confused for Santa Claus this week with his generous spirit.

On Tuesday, the Carolina Panthers quarterback delivered over $100,000 worth of gifts to children in the Charlotte area has part of the Cam Newton Foundation’s annual holiday giveaway. It started with Santa Cam’s Surprise Sleigh, which included five total stops around the region.

Newton delivered bicycles to an elementary school, providing students with 180 bikes and helmets. He made a second stop at a local food bank to drop off backpacks and hats. He also donated a $10,000 gift card to the food bank.

Later, Newton presented a $15,000 cash donation and $5,000 Conn’s gift card to a local ministry center. He also handed out socks, ponchos and hand warmers to the homeless.

At Newton’s final two stops, he donated $15,000 in cash and $5,000 in a Conn’s gift card to an afterschool program. He delivered the same gifts to a community center to round out his trip.

Newton has always been generous around the holiday times and even hosted a Thanksgiving Jam earlier this year, serving meals to over 1,200 people from around the Charlotte area.
