We now know the first two stops for ESPN’s College GameDay.

Just a few hours after GameDay announced that it will be headed to Atlanta for the Week 0 showdown between HBCU programs Alcorn State and NC Central in the MEAC-SWAC Challenge, ESPN’s popular pregame show announced the next stop on its tour. It will be headed to another southern state.

GameDay will be in Charlotte for the massive Week 1 game between Clemson and Georgia, both projected to be Top 5 teams when the preseason rankings are released.

The matchup between the Bulldogs and Tigers is one of the premier matchups of the nonconference season in college football. Not only does it start the season off in a big way, there are certainly College Football Playoff implications on the line.

Clemson and Georgia are schedule to go head-to-head from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kickoff is set for Saturday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The game is airing on ABC.
