David Pollack had blunt reaction to CFP Committee's ranking of Michigan, MSU
We are coming down to the final weeks of the regular season, and the race for the College Football Playoff has a lot left to be decided.
When the latest rankings came out, Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, and Ohio State made up the top 4 with Cincinnati, Michigan, and Michigan State occupying spots 5-7. However, key matchups with those teams over the next 2-3 weeks will have an impact on the final field.
Georgia and Alabama must face off in the SEC Championship, guaranteeing a loss for one of those teams. Ohio State will also face Michigan State and Michigan to end the season, providing those 3 teams with an opportunity to make a big statement heading into conference championships.
While a lot is left to be decided, ESPN’s David Pollack could not hide his disgust at the Committee not favoring head-to-head matchups when it came to the debate of Spartans vs. Wolverines. Have a listen:
“Pffft! Whatever.”

Pollack was far from the only one upset with many fans and media members sounding off on the Committee’s inconsistent criteria. It will be interesting to see how this race shapes up over the next couple of weeks.
