Week 3 delivered another fantastic week of college football and plenty of players put themselves squarely in the Heisman mix.

Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports released his Heisman hype list following week 3.

The only B1G player that was on his list was Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud. In the 77-21 win over Toledo the Buckeyes quarterback was 22-for-27, throwing for 367 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Heisman-hopeful will have plenty of spotlight games to show the country why he deserves college football’s most prestigious award.

The Buckeyes still have Wisconsin, No. 11 Michigan State, No. 22 Penn State and No. 4 Michigan all on the schedule.

Ohio State is at home next week for a primetime game against B1G West opponent Wisconsin, Saturday, Sept. 24, at 7:30 EST on ABC.

Former Indiana QB Michael Penix Jr., now with the Washington Huskies, put on a show against No. 11 Michigan State. The Huskies defeated the Spartans 38-29. Penix Jr., was 24-for-40 for 397 yards and 4 touchdowns.

As we get into B1G play there will be plenty of opportunities for B1G Playmakers to show the country why they deserve the Heisman trophy.
