The college football regular season is nearly complete. We only have one week left. And, luckily, it is human beings that determines who the best teams are at the end of each year — to the dismay of some — not computers.

After Week 13, ESPN’s FPI updated and Ohio State is still the top dog. If you’ve been following along, the Buckeyes have held the top spot for quite a while according to the FPI.

Last week in regard to the Big Ten, Penn State was No. 6, Michigan was No. 10, Wisconsin was No. 13 and Iowa and Minnesota held the No. 16 and No. 17 spots, respectively.

This week, one team has moved up, as the Wolverines have risen quite a bit. Let’s take a look:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Clemson
  3. Alabama
  4. LSU
  5. Georgia
  6. Penn State
  7. Michigan
  8. Florida
  9. Auburn
  10. Oregon
  11. Oklahoma
  12. Utah
  13. Wisconsin
  14. Notre Dame
  15. Texas A&M
  16. Iowa
  17. Minnesota
  18. Iowa State
  19. Baylor
  20. Washington
  21. USC
  22. UCF
  23. Texas
  24. Memphis
  25. Boise State

As you can tell, the only change for the B1G came from Michigan. The Wolverines handled Indiana in Bloomington on Saturday 39-14. The model sees Michigan as the seventh-best team in the country.

For rivalry week, the Wolverines-Buckeyes matchup will catch the eyes of many. According to the FPI, it believes that The Game is indeed the game of the week, too.

The entire FPI rankings can be found here.
