Thursday’s NBA Draft featured a number of big names getting selected, though the first round featured just one B1G player.
Michigan’s Franz Wagner came off the board as a lottery pick in the first round, but Wagner was the only player from the B1G selected in the first round. The Orlando Magic took Wagner at No. 8 overall.
The second round was a different story. Iowa’s Luka Garza and Illinois’ Ayo Dosunmu headlined a list of six B1G stars selected in the final 30 picks of the draft.
Following the conclusion of the draft, a number of players began signing as undrafted free agents with teams in the NBA. These deals range from training camp/summer league deals to two-way contract deals.
Here are the players we know of signing after going undrafted:
- Duane Washington, Ohio State – Indiana Pacers (two-way contract)
- Aaron Henry, Michigan State – Philadelphia 76ers (two-way contract)
- Micah Potter, Wisconsin – Miami Heat
- Chaundee Brown, Michigan – Los Angeles Lakers
