The 2024 NFL Draft is off and running with the first round wrapping up Thursday night!

The months-long buildup for the draft concluded with USC’s Caleb Williams becoming the long-expected No. 1 overall pick. That pick would launch a historic run on quarterbacks with 6 coming off the board in the first round.

In total, offensive players dominated Day 1 in a way usually unheard. 23 of the 32 total picks came from the offensive side of the ball, including a deep group of 7 wide receivers headlined by Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. at No. 4 overall.

As fans prepare for Rounds 2 and 3 Friday night, the first-round picks are about to get paid. The Big Ten produced 4 first-round picks, but that number would look much different if Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA were also included.

We’ve included the contract projections from the incoming schools on the list below just for fun. That group would also take the B1G’s first-round tally to 10 players. (Players who spent 2023 in the B1G are in bold.)
