Georgia punter, SEC Special Teams Player of the Year shanks 4-yard punt in Peach Bowl
This isn’t what Georgia was hoping for when it sent out the punt unit.
The Bulldogs had just a four-yard punt in the first quarter of its Peach Bowl matchup against Cincinnati.

Yikes.
Fortunately for Georgia punter Jake Camarda, Cincinnati wasn’t able to take advantage of the excellent field position.
Hilariously, Camarda was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Year after the end of the regular season.
This isn’t the first punter to have some issues this bowl season. On Thursday, Mississippi State’s punter miss-hit a ball directly into the arms of a Tulsa player a few yards down the field.
Thankfully for the Bulldogs, this appears to just be a one-time thing. UGA had to punt on its next possession as well, and it did so without issue.
Georgia and Cincy are currently tied at 7-7 early in the second quarter.
