It’s bound to be an interesting weekend around the B1G!
Heading into the weekend, there is still plenty to sort out in both divisions. There are two weeks to go before the B1G Championship Game in Indianapolis and every game is important the rest of the way.
Ahead of Saturday’s action, ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt picked two B1G games against the spread as part of his “Winners” segment. He started with Indiana hosting Michigan in Bloomington:
“Indiana +9.5 for Michigan. Hoosiers have been playing hard, been battling,” said SVP. “Took Penn State to the wire in Happy Valley last week. We like ’em in advance of Michigan’s huge rivalry spot next week.”

The second game was Minnesota’s road trip to Northwestern. Coming off of some hard-fought contests, SVP picked the Wildcats to keep it a bit closer than the spread:
“Northwestern’s getting 13.5. They beat UMass last week, got that offense cooking. Maybe they can score enough to hang around with Minnesota,” explained SVP. “Row the boat!”
