The punishments for the Tulsa players involved in one of the ugly scenes of the 2020-21 bowl season have been revealed.

During bowl season, Tulsa faced off against Mississippi State with the Bulldogs hanging on for a 28-26 victory. In the closing seconds of that game, an ugly brawl erupted between the two teams. The scrum included kicks, punches, and players being stomped on.

Tulsa is now set to begin the 2021 season on Thursday night with a visit from UC Davis. The Golden Hurricane program is also disciplining the players involved in the brawl to begin the season.

According to Kelly Hines with the Tulsa World, 6 players are suspended for the season opener. Another 3 players will be suspended for the first half of action to begin the season.
