Ultimate sportsmanship: Oklahoma paints Tulane logo on home turf following relocation
Oklahoma is giving a beautiful on-field gesture to visiting Tulane. The Week 1 matchup was initially slated to be hosted by Tulane. However, the effects of Hurricane Ida forced the contest to be relocated to Norman.
In a touching display of solidarity, Oklahoma painted the Tulane logo on its home turf.

Defending Big 12 champion Oklahoma posted a 9-2 record in the shortened 2020 season. Oklahoma knocked off Iowa State in the Big 12 title game and routed Florida in the Cotton Bowl. Oklahoma has captured the Big 12 title for the last six seasons and hasn’t had a losing season in the 21st century. Oklahoma’s last losing season dates all the way back to 1998.
Oklahoma-Tulane is slated for Sept. 4 (12 p.m. EST) and will be televised on ABC.
