It was a nice bounce-back week for the Big Ten, as Saturday featured a 5-0 record for the favorites in conference openers and a 2-1 record against non-league play.

While a little slow — there were no ranked matchups in Week 4 — the outcomes were enough to spark some movement in ESPN’s updated Football Power Index top 25.

The B1G has two teams in the top five of the FPI, with Ohio State (2) and Penn State (4) both coming off big wins against lesser opponents. Michigan (6) moved up two spots after embarrassing Nebraska enough that even a fast food restaurant chain felt compelled to make a comment on social media, Michigan State (12) moved up following a solid road win at then-undefeated Indiana, and Wisconsin (14) enjoyed a leap with its last-second victory in Iowa City.

Unfortunately, the Hawkeyes dropped from the list and fell to No. 27 overall despite a strong performance against the preseason West favorites.

Here’s where the B1G stacked up in the most recent FPI:

No. 2: Ohio State
No. 4: Penn State
No. 6: Michigan
No. 12: Michigan State
No. 14: Wisconsin

Maryland (46) and Purdue (52) were the only other teams to post victories in Week 4.
