Urban Meyer has been around the block.

The former Florida and Ohio State coach has faced a good amount of the Division 1 college football teams across his 18 years as a college head coach. Meyer was on-location in Lincoln for FOX Big Noon Kickoff’s coverage ahead of Nebraska’s bout against No. 6 Oklahoma.

He named the Huskers fanbase as the best he’s ever coached against.

Fans in Lincoln already let him know he should start coaching again and take the vacant position left by Scott Frost’s firing Sunday. If nothing else is certain, that would surely be entertaining.

Nebraska’s fanbase is widely regarded as one of the best in the nation. Despite the down years, the Husker faithful show up every Saturday. College football needs Nebraska to be relevant again for that reason alone.

Could all this Urban Meyer to Nebraska buzz mean something soon?
